Writers’ Workshop

Calling all writers, poets, journal-keepers, and storytellers—this one’s for you. Join The South Side Writes for an intimate and inspiring Writers’ Workshop hosted at KáLab: The Creative Space. This guided writing experience is designed to help you explore, express, and expand your voice in a supportive, creative environment.

Our writing theme, “Many Forms of Love,” invites you to reflect on love in all its expressions—romantic, self-love, family, community, healing, and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just getting started, this workshop offers space to write freely, connect with other creatives, and leave feeling inspired.

Bring your journal and your favorite pen or pencil, an open heart, and a willingness to create. Come as you are—your story is welcome here.
